Training and Ongoing Support

As a franchisee you will benefit from the support of a committed and highly experienced 80:20 management team.

One of the key benefits in our training package is that it can commence whilst you are still in your current salaried employment. This naturally eliminates many of the risks associated with switching careers and ensures that you and your family are not financially at risk during this phase.

The Training Programme

The training programme is split into 2 key stages based on your development and understanding of the 80:20 business model and your own personal qualifications.


Stage One

Delivers you a fundamental understanding of bookkeeping and makes you a competent user of Sage Line 50, the market leading accounting software.


This is achieved by:

  • A comprehensive learning programme combining classroom, e learning, data processing and in the fieldwork experience with clients.
  • 80:20’s experienced directors oversee your training
  • We ensure that all training is flexible to fit around your existing employment.

Stage Two

  • Concentrates on the more advanced bookkeeping and management accounting skills using Sage Financial Forecasting.
  • Develop your marketing strategy and client recruitment skills.
  • Introduce the 80:20 financial management techniques

Training will remain a feature of the ongoing development of our Financial Managers and their work is subject to periodic review to ensure that standards of work throughout the network are maintained.
